Terms of use and privacy policy
Version 0.1-placeholder
⚠️ This text is a placeholder and has no legal force.
The actual terms of use and privacy policy have not been supplied by the business. This file exists so that a version number can be recorded against every acceptance — not to be read as an agreement. Do not rely on it, and do not put the product in front of customers before it is replaced.
Plausible-sounding clauses have deliberately not been written here: an invented text that reads as a real agreement is worse than one that declares itself unfinished.
What the real text has to cover
The consent taken at registration is for processing passport data — uploading an image of the document, reading it automatically to extract the name, nationality, passport number, date of birth and expiry date, storing it, and transmitting it to the authority that issues the permit. That is the processing the real text must describe, along with how long the data is kept and who can see it.
Why the version matters
The version is stored with every acceptance, so that revising this text later cannot silently reinterpret what people agreed to before the revision. A change to the text means a new version, and leaves earlier acceptances naming the version they actually accepted.
